Wel i finally did it after two and a half years. i got my driverslicence! No more backaching dragging stuff in and out of public transporstation. no more annoyed glances from people who do not seem to understand that you really sit in that part of the train so that other people can normally move about without tripping over you bagpack or something like that. For my fair friends not much wil change except for a elderly lady who i already offert a free ride to the fairs and train. She is the oldest larper i know and had to stop because off her health, so yea i have a rather big amount of respect for her and there for offert her the rides free off charges. The only change for the others is that they do not have to worry anymore about me waiting on a taxi in the dark or cold.
The larpers wil mostly have a change. for one no more small crawl tent. I do like my tent i stil do but i am kinda tired of having to yoga my way in and out off costumes or pull my tent down with my big furry cloak. I already have my eye on a 5 persons tent where i can stand straight in and have room for a stretcher which wil also be much better for my health probely and me massage table. Another thing is food, my larping friends who ate along always had to go ooc during mealtimes since i could not really prepare anything within the game.. I could do it last larp but that was because i could put my stuff in another persons tent. Also i can vary easyer with meals now, i never really could make something with chicken when it was hot because i had no real cooler systemand i am but off a worrywart when it comes to keeping meat fresh. Now i can take along a big cooler bag with cold elements in it and a wok pan. Also a selected few can put there stuff in my tent, i am not planning on becoming a storage unit so i keep a eye out who puts his things in my tent.
also i am close to be done with the first part off my winterfair kostuum it's gonna be shiney!
Al in al allot of things are gonna be diffrent now.
purring greetings
